Dog Walking

At Harlem’s Happy Hounds, we offer competitive dog walking rates for private and semi private walks with our small, thoroughly trained team of professional handlers. We are the best upper west side dog walkers that you can find! We’ll pick up your dog from your apartment and take them out to enjoy some fresh air, have some fun, and get some relief. As Manhattan dog walkers, we have special techniques to ensure that your dog is always safe and comfortable. We never pack walk, never leave dogs unattended, and are always highly aware of our surroundings.

Private walks are solo – just your pal and a professional handler. Semi private walks include a small group of up to three dogs per handler. Always concerned with safety, we carefully match dogs on the basis of size and temperament. As per your preference, we will walk your dog in the park, on the sidewalk, or even let she/he get some energy out in the dog run. Semi private walks are great for socialization, while private walks are best for dogs who prefer to be alone. We have male and female dog walkers, who we can assign based on your preference since some dogs are more comfortable with particular genders. Your dog and his/her walker will get to know each other well since we avoid changing particular dog’s walkers as much as possible. We’re happy to give treats to your dog after every walk, in addition to feeding and watering per your directions. We will write notes to let you know how the walk went, and will send photo updates upon request.
